Police Week 2017 - "Working Together for Safer Communities"

The Niagara Regional Police Service is inviting the community to join us in celebrating Police Week May from May 14 to 20. Since 1970, Police Week has been observed in May to coincide with Peace Officers Memorial Day, recognized internationally on May 15. This year's theme, Working Together for Safer Communities, invites everyone to discover the many ways our police personnel work to keep our communities safe.

Police services across Ontario are preparing to celebrate "Police Week" which supports a collaborative approach towards safer and healthier communities in Ontario.  It also recognizes the important role of the police in helping to achieve that goal and celebrates the positive relationships between local police officers and their communities.
