Fatal Single Motor Vehicle Collision in Thorold

On Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at approximately 3:30am, emergency personal responded to a single motor vehicle collision. The collision occurred along the Welland Canal Parkway, near Service Road West, in Thorold. 

1 District – St. Catharines officers arrived on scene to find a 26 year old male from St. Catharines was trapped in a white Chevrolet Cruze. A bystander had attempted to rescue the driver from the damaged car.

On Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at approximately 5:04pm, emergency personal responded to the area of Crowland Avenue and Ridge Road, in the City of Niagara Falls, for a report of an ATV accident.

2 District - Niagara Falls officers arrived on scene to find an 18 year old female from Niagara Falls and a 17 year old female from Niagara Falls, had been thrown from an ATV.  The females were both in critical condition.

In September of 2019, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit commenced an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.

On Tuesday May 19, 2020, at approximately 11:00AM, the Niagara Regional Police responded to a building in the area of King Street and Minto Street, in the City of Port Colborne, regarding a trespassing complaint.
