On Monday, May 25, 2020 the male suspect was taken into custody at a Niagara Falls residence and placed under arrest.
Milan is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing via video at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines on Tuesday May 26, 2020

On Wednesday May 20, 2020 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were called to a home in the area of Armoury St and Crysler Ave in the City of Niagara Falls following the report of a disturbance.
Investigation by detectives has discovered that a male forced his way into the home and assaulted the resident.
Detectives have issued a warrant for the arrest of 35-year-old Brent Milan of Niagara Falls in relation to the following alleged charges:

On Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at approximately 3:30am, emergency personal responded to a single motor vehicle collision. The collision occurred along the Welland Canal Parkway, near Service Road West, in Thorold.
1 District – St. Catharines officers arrived on scene to find a 26 year old male from St. Catharines was trapped in a white Chevrolet Cruze. A bystander had attempted to rescue the driver from the damaged car.

On Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at approximately 5:04pm, emergency personal responded to the area of Crowland Avenue and Ridge Road, in the City of Niagara Falls, for a report of an ATV accident.
2 District - Niagara Falls officers arrived on scene to find an 18 year old female from Niagara Falls and a 17 year old female from Niagara Falls, had been thrown from an ATV. The females were both in critical condition.

In September of 2019, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit commenced an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.
The investigation into the child exploitation material led to a St. Catharines residence. In May of 2020, members assigned to the Niagara Regional Police Service's I.C.E. Unit, concluded their investigation, which resulted in the identification of a suspect.
