Sexual Assault - NRPS Investigating Sexual Assault in Niagara Falls

On July 10, 2018, a 42 year woman from Niagara Falls reported to the Niagara Regional Police Service that on July 7, 2018, she had been the victim of a sexual assault.

Detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit have commenced an investigation into the matter.  The investigation has learned that on July 7, 2018, at approximately 10:30PM the woman had an interaction with an unknown man in the area of Gladstone Avenue and Spring Street in the City of Niagara Falls. 

As the woman attempted to walk away, the man sexually assaulted her. He then fled the area on foot.

The man is described as:

- Male, black
- 24-25 years old
- 5'10"-6' feet tall
- Skinny build
- Black short curly hair
- Wearing white t shirt
- Shorts - Unknown colour
- Shoe - Unknown colour
- Possibly wearing a hat

Detectives are asking that anyone who has information about this matter or the identity of the man to contact them at 905-688-4111 ext. 9399.
