Media Advisory - Bridge Dedication Ceremony

On Friday November 8, 2019 the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is hosting a bridge dedication ceremony in honour of Constable Luciano DeSimone who died in the line of duty on May 2, 1974.
 
Constable DeSimone was 24 at the time of his death, responding to a disturbance in the City of Niagara Falls when he was involved in a collision.
 
The ceremony will be held at 10am in the Community Room of NRPS Headquarters (5700 Valley Way, Niagara Falls, Ontario L2E 1X8)
 
This event is open to the general public and media agencies.
