Fraud - Grimsby Fire Department Donation Fraud

The Grimsby Fire Department was  recently alerted to a phone scam  targeting local businesses.
 
The caller(s) demand a cash donation for a 'fire fighter book' identifying themselves as representatives of the Grimsby Fire Department . 
 
The Grimsby Fire Department does not solicit for donations over the phone and potential victims should be aware of the scam. 
 
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905-945-2211 extension 5400.
