Recruiting Unit


 The Recruiting Unit is comprised of two Police Constables and a Sergeant. The Recruiting Unit is responsible for the hiring process of new constables on an ongoing basis. They also assist with hiring Special Constables as well as Auxiliary officer hiring conducted once a year.

The Recruiting Unit also attends career fairs, community events and Colleges and Universities to provide information to people that are interested in pursuing a career in policing.

The Recruiting Unit administers all of the interviews and then coordinates background investigations for those candidates that are assigned to background investigators.
