Robbery - Suspect to Identify

On Thursday January 10th 2019, at 7:43 am, with the assistance of 1 District patrol officers, investigators with the St. Catharines Detective office made an arrest in relation to this robbery investigation.
As a result, a 23 year old St. Catharines male, identified as Jhon Flores, is charged with the alleged offence of:
-Robbery contrary to section 343(a) of the Criminal Code.
Following arrest, the involved patrol officers continued to investigate evidence that was discovered in the possession of the accused at the time of his arrest. This evidence included a quantity of suspected illicit drugs and an imitation firearm concealed in his waistband. As result of this secondary investigation (Inc#19-2956), it is further alleged the accused committed:
-Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose contrary to section 88(1) of the Criminal Code;
-Carry Concealed Weapon contrary to section 90(1) of the Criminal Code;
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 354(1) of the Criminal Code;
-Possession of a Weapon contrary to Court Order contrary to Section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code;
-Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
-Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
-Breach of Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code.
Jhon Flores will appear for a bail hearing on January 11th 2019 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street in the City of St. Catharines.
On December 15th 2018, at approximately 10:26 am,  1 District uniform patrol officers responded to an assault call for service in the area of Page Street and Queenston Street in the City of  St. Catharines.  Preliminary investigation revealed that a female victim had been assaulted by an unknown male suspect resulting in minor injuries not requiring medical attention. During this interaction, the victim had personal property stolen, as well. 
This investigation is being continued by members of the St. Catharines Detective Office. Video surveillance has identified the perpetrator as having the following description:  male/black, approximately 20 years, black baseball cap (with yellow logo), red sweater (black sleeves), grey jogging pants and white shoes. The identity of this suspect remains unknown, however, this incident was not a random act of violence.
Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance with identifying this suspect. Please see the attached suspect photographs.
