Other - Detectives investigate Welland vandalism

On Saturday August 3, 2019 3 District (Welland) uniform officers were called to Chippawa Park in the City of Welland.
 
When officers arrived, a statue was found to have been defaced with spray paint.  It's believed the vandalism occurred overnight from the 1st to the 2nd of August.
 
Detectives are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information or any witnesses to contact police (905) 688-4111 Dial option 3, Badge 9517
