On November 8th, 2022, the Niagara Regional Police Service received information that assisted the investigating officer in identifying the suspect wanted in an indecent act investigation that occurred at the Pen Centre shopping mall, located at 221 Glendale Avenue, in the City of St. Catharines on November 3rd, 2022.

Jonathan SHRED (32 years) of St. Catharines was arrested on November 9th, 2022, and has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Indecent act

• Fail to comply with probation order

SHRED is being held in custody pending an appearance in bail court on November 10th, 2022, via video link to the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

The Niagara Regional Police Service would like to thank members of the public who assisted by providing information that resulted in the arrest of SHRED.
