The Niagara Regional Police Service social media program was created to better serve the communications needs of residents in the Niagara Region and beyond. The program delivers communications services that are essential for individual, agency and community partners alike. Using social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and You Tube, the Niagara Regional Police Service engages the community with timely and accurate messaging.

Social media is a great tool to share information, it can be prone to fuel rumour and misinformation.  Please consider the NRPS social media accounts first as an official source for policing matters relating to the Niagara Region.
