On September 9th, 2020 at 12:22am members of the 3 District (Welland) Uniform Patrol responded to a brake and enter at Jean Vanier High School, located at 620 River Road in the city of Welland.
Investigation revealed a 10 foot aluminum brake valued at $4000.00 dollars was stolen from the outdoor technological education area. The aluminum break is described as silver with red handles.

In September of 2020, detectives from the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) began an investigation into the illegal sale of suspected crystal methamphetamine from a St. Catharines residence.

On Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 at approximately 9:12am, 3 District (Welland) Uniform Officers responded to the area of Mcnaughton Road and Nelles Road, in the City of Welland, in response to a collision.
Initial information received was that a male was operating a Blue Chevy SIlvarado, when he collided with a parked car.

In August of 2020, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) commenced an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.
In September of 2020, members assigned to the Niagara Regional Police Service's I.C.E. Unit and Technological Crime Unit, concluded their investigation, which resulted in the identification of a suspect.
As a result of the investigation, on September 17th, 2020, the suspect was arrested.
