8 District CIB Investigating Armed Robbery - Wellandport

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at approximately 10:45 PM, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) uniform officers responded to a business on Canborough Road in Wellandport for a robbery that just occurred.

Responding officers learned that two male suspects entered the store and made a demand for cash while brandishing handguns. The suspects stole a quantity of cash and merchandise from the store and fled the scene. The suspects are described as two white males, wearing all black clothing and facemasks.

8 District Criminal Investigative Branch (CIB) has taken carriage of the investigation. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009528.
