Detectives Requesting Public Assistance in Residential Shooting Investigation – West Lincoln

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at approximately 1:10 pm, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) uniform officers responded to the area of Young Street in West Lincoln for a belated shooting that took place at a residential property.  The investigation revealed that an unidentified suspect had fired three rounds into the residence at approximately 3:30 am. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Detectives with 8 District Criminal Investigative Bureau (CIB) have taken carriage of the investigation and are appealing to the public for any information regarding the shootings. Officers will be in the area canvassing for video surveillance footage and witnesses to the incident. Detectives are requesting that residences and businesses in the area of Young Street review any video surveillance footage between 3:00 am and 4:00 am and contact police if any suspicious vehicles or persons are observed.
