Detectives Searching for Missing 14-Year-Old Female in St. Catharines

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old female.

Claire MARTEL (14years) went missing from her family home in the area of Rockwood Avenue and Carriage Road in St. Catharines between the hours of 11:30PM on March 1, 2026, and 5:00AM on March 2, 2026.

Claire is described as follows.

• White
• 5'2
• 120 pounds
• Medium length black straight hair
• Nose and eyebrow piercings
• Likely wearing white Nike shoes and carrying a black backpack

Detectives are concerned about Claire’s safety and are asking for anyone who knows the whereabouts of Claire, or who may have information relevant to this incident to contact police at 905-688-4111.
