Media Release: Detectives Requesting Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at approximately 8:45 am, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to the area of Scott Street and Nihan Drive in the City of St Catharines for a robbery. Responding officers determined a male suspect entered two businesses and made a demand for money. Upon being refused, the male left the businesses and subsequently fled the area.

The suspect is described as follows:

• Male
• White
• Medium Build
• 5’8”

The suspect wore the following:

• Black Balaclava
• Black and White Checkered Jacket
• Grey Hooded Sweater
• Green Pants
• Red Running Shoes
• Blue Backpack
• Black and White Gloves

Detectives with the 1 District Criminal Investigative Bureau (CIB) have taken carriage of the investigation. Detectives are appealing to any member of the public who has information regarding this incident to contact police at (905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009964.
