NRPS Investigating Suspicious Residential Fire in West Lincoln

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) detectives are investigating a suspicious residential fire that occurred in West Lincoln on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., police were notified of a residential structure fire at 325 West Street. At the time of the incident, the residence was under renovation and unoccupied.

The West Lincoln Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire. Damage to the property is estimated to exceed $700,000.

The property was equipped with surveillance cameras, which captured two suspects on the property shortly before the fire erupted.

Based on their investigation, detectives have determined that the fire was intentionally set between 2:01 a.m. and 2:16 a.m. on December 11, 2025.

Investigators are asking residents in the area to review their home surveillance footage and anyone who was driving in the area at the time to review dash camera footage for anything that may assist the investigation.
