Public Assistance Requested in Locating Missing St. Catharines Youth

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are requesting the publics assistance in locating 17-year-old Jada BALGOBIN.

Jada was reported missing on Monday, January 5, 2026.  Efforts to locate her have come up empty.  The timing of when she was last seen remains under investigation, however it may be as far back as December 15, 2025, in the downtown area of St. Catharines

Detectives have a concern for her wellbeing and are appealing to the public for assistance in locating her.

Jada is described as follows.

• Female
• White
• 5’3” tall
• Thin build
• Dark hair with orange tips
• Heart tattoo on her left hand

It is unknown what she was wearing when last seen

Anyone with information on Jada’s whereabouts is asked to contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009756.

Members of the community who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to people who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
