Suspects to Identify in Daytime Break and Enter in Niagara Falls

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) Street Crime Unit (SCU) is currently investigating a Break and Enter incident which took place May 4, 2026, in Niagara Falls.

The daytime break and enter into a residence near the north end of Dorchester Road near Mountain Road is believed to have happened in the late morning or early afternoon on May 4.  Detectives believe that three or more suspects parked a vehicle at the north dead-end portion of Dorchester Road and utilized the train tracks to access the rear of a near by residence.  The suspects were caught on security footage all wearing similar work attire and may have appeared to the public to be a landscaping or work crew.  One suspect would have been carrying a ladder.

The suspects are described as follows.

• Male
• Unknown age
• Green hoodies
• Brown khaki/work pants
• Ball/work hats
• Dark masks
• Black backpacks

The dead-end area of Dorchester Road is popular for people walking their dogs, hiking the trails, parking to enjoy lunch etc.  They are asking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time to check their dashcam and/or security footage for anyone matching the suspects descriptions or who may have seen any suspicious vehicles that may be related to this offence.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service 2 District Street Crime Unit at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009558.
