Update 1 – Arrest Made - Two Suspects Sought in Break and Enter to a Fort Erie Vape Shop
Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 5 District (Fort Erie) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) would like to thank the public for their help in this incident.
A person has been arrested in connection with the investigation and one person is outstanding. The arrested person meets the definition of a Young Offender and as such their photo has been removed from our web and social media sites. Out of an abundance of caution the photo of the outstanding suspect has also been removed in the event that they too may meet the definition of a Young Offender.
We ask for the media and public to also remove the photos from their social feeds.
Detectives are still asking members of the public and businesses nearby to check their security video footage captured between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact 5 District CIB (Fort Erie) at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009700.
Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information that leads to an arrest.

ORIGINAL Media Release - Two Suspects Sought in Break and Enter to a Fort Erie Vape Shop
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 5 District (Fort Erie) responded to a report of a belated Break and Enter at a vape shop in the area of Gilmore Road and Mary Street in Fort Erie.
Investigation determined that at approximately 3:00 a.m. on April 28, 2026, two unknown suspects attended the business and gained entry. Once inside the store, the suspects stole a quantity of cash and vape products and fled.
The suspects are described as follows.
SUSPECT 1:
- White
- Brown coloured toque
- Black mask covering their face
- Black hoodie with "Stick it" with hearts on the front and "Break Parts Not Hearts" with photo of a vehicle and hearts on the back
- Red and black gloves
- Black pants
- Black boots
- Black backpack with brown trim on the bottom.
SUSPECT 2:
- White
- Black and purple Toronto Raptors hoodie with hood up and "RAPTORS" written across the chest
- Black pants
- Black slides with a white Nike logo
- Grey socks
