UPDATE 1 LOCATED - MISSING PERSON – 38-year-old Male from Fort Erie

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) advise that missing male, Emrah GUNEY has been located safely.  The NRPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in this incident. 

The NRPS has removed Emrah’s photo from the original media release and our social media for his privacy.  We ask the public and media outlets to consider doing the same.

ORIGINAL Media Release:  MISSING PERSON – 38-year-old Male

The Niagara Regional Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Emrah GUNEY (38 years-of-age). Emrah is believed to have recently been in the area of Lakeshore Road and Dominion Road in the Town of Fort Erie. Emrah is known to operate a 2009 Red Honda CRV.

Emrah is described as follows:

• White
• Male
• 38 years old
• Slim Build
• Black Hair
• Beard

Officer’s and friends are concerned for Emrah’s welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him. Residences and businesses in the area of Lakeshore Road and Dominion Road in Fort Erie are asked to review any video surveillance that may assist in locating Emrah. Anyone who may have information on Emrah’s whereabouts is requested to contact Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688-4111.
