Child Abuse Unit Investigating Sexual Assault – Niagara Falls

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers began an investigation into a belated stranger sexual assault involving a child under the age of 16-years-old.

The Child Abuse Unit (CAU) has taken carriage of the investigation. The assault is alleged to have taken place at a daycare in the area of McLeod Road and Kalar Road in Niagara Falls. The exact date and time of the assault is still under investigation, however, is it believed to have occurred within the past two weeks.
