Update 1 – Located Safe - Public Assistance Requested in Locating a Missing Grimsby Woman
Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) would like to thank the public for their assistance in this incident. The missing female, Antoinette FRYNS, has been located safely and there is no criminality in this incident.
The NRPS has removed Antoinette’s photo from the original media release and our social media for her privacy. We ask the public and media outlets to consider doing the same.

Public Assistance Requested in Locating a Missing Grimsby Woman
Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are investigating a missing person incident in Grimsby.
On June 28, 2026, 65-year-old Antoinette FRYNS was reported missing from her home in the Livingstone Avenue and Slessor Boulevard area of Grimsby. Antoinette was last seen at her home at approximately 11:15 a.m. on June 28, 2026.
Detectives have concerns about Antoinette’s wellbeing and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.
Antoinette is described as follows:
- Female
- White
- 5'2” tall
- Slim build
- Short black hair
- Possibly wearing white/beige shorts or jeans and grey running shoes
Anyone with information about Antoinette’s whereabouts is asked to call 8 District detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009747.
Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information that leads to an arrest.
