5 District (Fort Erie) uniform officers and detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) have been investigating five break and enters that occurred in the Town of Fort Erie.

The break and enters occurred at commercial properties in Fort Erie between June 27 and August 6, 2024.  The suspect broke into three commercial locations causing damage (returned to two locations) and stealing items from within.

The suspect stole power tools ($1500), copper wiring ($4000), candy ($300) and vending machine cash ($1100).  Damage associated to the five incidents is estimated at close to $10,000.

Update 2 - June 27, 2024

Detectives are continuing to investigate missing person Galextra Kavanaugh who was last observed in the area of Bridge Street and Fourth Avenue travelling towards Stanley Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls. 

Detectives are asking anyone who may be in the area to review their video footage or check their residential surroundings including back yards and sheds.  If anything is observed or if anyone has information as to her whereabouts they are kindly asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1007730.

Jessica has been located safe. 

Detectives would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance;  we have removed her photo from our website and social media and ask that others do the same with respect to her privacy.

Detectives and Officers from 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person 32-year-old Jessica Blayney of West Lincoln.

Jessica was last seen in the early morning hours of Thursday June 20 in the Dunnville area.

Jessica is described as:

• Female
• White
• Approximately 5’10” with a thin build
• Blonde hair
• Green eyes
• Henna style tattoo on her hand

The police and Jessica’s family are concerned for her welfare.  Anyone who may have information as to his location are asked to contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1024330 or ”dispatch”.

Odessa has been located safely. The NRPS would like to thank the media and the public for their help in this matter. 

Original Release - June 1, 2024

Detectives from 5 District (Fort Erie) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Emily Odessa Tyler who goes by the name of Odessa.

Odessa was last seen on June 1, 2024 at approximately 8:30am in the area of Nigh Road and Rose Hill Road, in the Town of Fort Erie.  Odessa was last seen on a red bike with a banana seat​ and basket on the front.

Detectives from the 2 District – Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Galextra Kavanaugh. Galextra also goes by the name of Selma Paul.

As a result of the continued investigation detectives were able to determine Galextra was last seen on foot on Monday, May 27, 2024, at approximately 2:32pm, northbound on Victoria Avenue at Valley Way, in Niagara Falls. 

Galextra is described as:

• Black female
• 5’6 feet tall
• Brown eyes
• Brown/Gray hair
• 68 years of age

Officers from 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Arthur CLUM. 

Arthur was last seen on May 21; 2024 at approximately 1:45pm in the area of Dorchester Road and Jubilee Drive, in the City of Niagara Falls.

His means of travel is by foot.  

Arthur is described as:

      •     White male 

Arthur was last seen wearing a Blue Jays baseball cap, dark shorts and a dark shirt, glasses and black and white Nike sneakers. 

The police and Arthur’s family are concerned for his welfare.
