22-year-old Hamilton Man Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material Charges

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a young person.

Detectives discovered that the suspect befriended teenage victims and offered to provide vape pens or marijuana in exchange for sexual services. The suspect is known to operate across several jurisdictions, including Niagara, Hamilton, and Waterloo. On Thursday, May 14, 2026, the suspect was arrested in Hamilton.

22-year-old Tywante Adrian Jakwon DAVIDSON-BAPTISTE of Hamilton is charged with the following criminal offences:

• Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child

• Making Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material

• Making Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material Available

• Fail to Comply with Release Order

DAVIDSON-BAPTISTE is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street in St Catharines. 

Detectives believe there could be more victims, and are asking anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009128.

Members of the community who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to people who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
