Male Deceased in Motorcycle Collision in Niagara Falls

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m. uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) responded to the reports of a motor vehicle collision on Stanley Avenue north of Thorold Stone Road in Niagara Falls.

Officers arrived on scene to find a single motorcycle involved.  The operator of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old Niagara Falls male, was transported to a local hospital by Niagara Emergency Medical Services, where sadly, he was pronounced deceased.

The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) was called in to take carriage of the investigation.  The road was closed for the CRU to process the scene along with the Forensic Services Unit (FSU).  The road has since been re-opened.

Initial indication was that the motorcycle was travelling north on Stanley Avenue and lost control in a curve north of Thorold Stone Road.
