Niagara Falls Man Charged with Animal Cruelty and Bestiality Charges
On October 3, 2026, detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) were contacted by Provincial Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) with regards to an animal cruelty incident.
Detectives were advised that in late September 2026, a concerned citizen had taken a cat from a motel residence in the Lundy’s Lane and Montrose Road area of Niagara Falls, after it was found to be severely emaciated and bound. On October 5, 2026, detectives were able to obtain judicial authorization to enter the motel residence, where they found materials used to bind the cat.
55-year-old Peter KRSUL of Niagara Falls was arrested at the scene. KRSUL has been charged with the following offences.
