Suspects to Identify in Wellandport Break and Enter
On Wednesday September 2, 2026, at approximately 2:35 a.m., uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) responded to a report of a Break and Enter into a gas station/convenience store near Canborough Road and Wellandport Road in Wellandport.
Two suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival after stealing various items from within the store. Investigation determined that the suspects arrived in a black hatchback vehicle, of unknown make and model, and fled westbound on Canborough Road.
Witnesses reported seeing one suspect holding what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects were described as follows.

- 20-30 years of age
- 6’2” tall
- Black balaclava
- Blue hooded sweatshirt
- Black jogging pants
- Black running shoes
- Black gloves
Suspect Two
- Male
- 20-30 years of age
- 5’9” tall
- Black balaclava
- Black hooded sweatshirt
- Black jogging pants
- White running shoes
- Black gloves
Detectives with the 8 District Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have taken carriage of the investigation. They are asking for assistance in identifying the suspects or vehicle involved in this incident.
