Two Pedestrians Struck in Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – Niagara Falls
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers responded to the area of Falls Avenue near Stanley Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls for a motor vehicle collision involving two pedestrians.
Officers arrived on scene and located two pedestrians that were struck by a Honda Ridgeline Pick-up Truck. A 51-year-old female was located without vital signs and life saving measures were commenced, however she sadly succumbed to her injuries. A 47-year-old male was transported to local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) has taken carriage of the investigation. Anyone with information related to this investigation is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009769.
