Two Separate Arson Incidents at a Niagara Falls Restaurant
In the early morning hours of August 26, 2026, uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) along with the Niagara Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at a Drummond Road restaurant south of Dunn Street in Niagara Falls.
The fire was quickly extinguished and damage was mitigated. The initial investigation determined the cause of the fire to be an arson and two suspects were involved. They arrived on motorcycles and are described as follows.
Suspect 1
- Black sweater with a white shirt underneath
- Grey motorcycle helmet
- Grey jeans
- Black shoes with white trim
- Driving a red motorcycle
Suspect 2
- Black sweater
- Dark cargo pants
- Black shoes with white trim
- Blue helmet
- Green backpack
- Driving a black and neon yellow motorcycle
The same restaurant was the subject of a second arson in the early morning hours of September 26, 2026. Again, the fire was quickly extinguished and the damage was mitigated. This investigation revealed two suspects were involved again, and the suspect descriptions were similar to the first incident as they arrived on a motorcycle, this time as rider and passenger. The suspects in the second incident are described as follows.

- White male
- Blue puffer jacket
- Black pants
- Black gloves
- Black shoes
- Orange and silver coloured motorcycle helmet with a visor
Suspect 2 (passenger)
- White male
- Black motorcycle helmet with a clear visor
- White gloves
- Brown jacket
- Blue jeans
- Black shoes
- Black motorcycle helmet with a clear visor
Detectives with the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have taken carriage of the investigation. They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects and/or motorcycles.
