Update #1 - Serious Motor Vehicle Collision - West Lincoln
Detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate the motor vehicle collision on Boyle Road. Sadly, on August 13, 2026, the driver passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the motor vehicle collision. There were no other injuries as a result of the collision.

Original Media Release: Serious Motor Vehicle Collision - West Lincoln
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) uniform officers responded to the area of Boyle Road near Vaughan Road in West Lincoln for a serious motor vehicle collision.
Responding officers located a two-vehicle collision in which a female driver suffered life threatening injuries. The female was extricated from the vehicle and transported to an out-of-region hospital by Niagara Emergency Medical Services (NEMS) where she remains in critical condition. The second involved driver was not injured.
