Community safety dooesn't stop at the police station, it includes local businesses, community organizations, and residents working together. 

The Niagara Regional Police Service Board Strategic Plan 2026-2029 sets the direction for policing in Niagara over the next four years. Developed in accordance with the Community Safety and Policing Act, this plan reflects what we heard from the community and the business sector, and our commitment to keep listening. 

Through extensive consultation with residents, businesses, community partners, and NRPS members, the Strategic Plan focuses on: 

• Strengthening Community Safety
• Building Trust and Transparency
• Advancing Diversity and Inclusion
• Modernizing Policing and Use of Data
• Supporting Organizational Health and Accountability
