Special Victims Unit

The Special Victims Unit is a centralized group of specialized investigative offices. Each unit within the SVU has its own mandate and/or protocols, but work closely with each other when circumstances dictate a joint effort.

Specialized units within the Special Victims Unit include:

• Child Abuse Unit (CAU)
• Domestic Violence Unit (DVU)
• Human Trafficking Unit (HTU)
• Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE)
• Sexual Assault Unit (SAU)
• Computer Cyber Crime Unit (C3)
• Technological Crime Unit (Tech Crimes)
• Offender Management Unit (OMU)
