A 54-year-old man from Fort Erie was arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80 after registering an alert/fail.
In addition, eight Provincial Offence Notices were issued for various Highway Traffic Act violations, including but not limited to:

Throughout the evening, several community members and visitors to local resorts and campgrounds expressed their appreciation for the R.I.D.E. checkpoints and their support for continued road safety efforts.

This initiative was made possible in part through grant funding from the Ministry of the Solicitor General under the Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) program.
