The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) office is investigating a significant theft of jewellery from a St. Catharines residence.
On April 10, 2025, 1 District uniform officers attended a residence in the area of Read Road and Lakeshore Road in St. Catharines following a report of theft. The complainant advised officers they had recently returned home after being out of the country. Upon their return, they discovered several pieces of jewellery had been stolen from within the home.

Several of the stolen items hold deep sentimental value for the complainant, who is hopeful the pieces can be recovered and returned.
