Niagara Falls, Ont. — The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is proud to announce its participation in the 57th Annual International Law Enforcement Tug of War, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, on the Rainbow Bridge.

The NRPS men's and women's tug of war teams will face off against their United States law enforcement counterparts in this long-standing tradition—battling it out at the centre of the international border in a spirited show of camaraderie and cross-border cooperation.

The event is free and open to the public. At 1:45 p.m., NRPS teams will march proudly down Clifton Hill, led by the Chief’s Honour Guard and the award-winning Niagara Regional Police Pipe Band. The main event kicks off at 2 p.m. sharp, as NRPS and U.S. law enforcement teams meet in the middle of the Rainbow Bridge for an exciting tug of war.

Persons coming to watch the event are asked to consider bringing a non-perishable donation to support Project Share of Niagara Falls.

Please note: Anyone wishing to access the Rainbow Bridge to watch the event and cheer on Team NRPS will be required to present a valid passport or NEXUS card.
