The Niagara Regional Police Service Traffic Enforcement Unit charged a 20 year old male driver from Stoney Creek with Stunting last night. The driver was driving 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Highway 20 in West Lincoln.
This is the third time this driver has been charged with Stunting in the last 10 months.
The driver will have his drivers license suspended for 7 days, and the vehicle he was driving will be impounded for 7 days. The penalties for Stunt driving include a $2000 - $10 000 dollar fine, license suspension for up to 2 years, 7 demerit points and increased insurance rates. With multiple stunting charges, this driver could face a possible jail sentence.Submitted By:
