Detectives looking to Identify Suspects in Relation to Break and Enter in West Lincoln

On November 20, 2021, at approximately 11:17am, 8 District (Grimsby) uniform officers attended John Deere Premier Equipment located at 2887 South Grimsby Road, in West Lincoln for a break and enter in progress.

Investigation revealed that two male suspects had broken into the business and stole gas and battery powered lawn equipment and left the area prior to police arrival.

Detectives with the 8 District detective office are seeking the public's help in identifying the two male suspects.

The Regional Municipality of Niagara Police Services Board and the Niagara Region Police Association have reached an agreement on a new six (6) year contract for the 764 Uniform Members and 303 Civilian Members of the Police Service.  The new contract runs from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2026.

MISSING PERSON - NRPS Officers Searching for 40-Year-Old Man in Niagara Falls

The Niagara Regional Police is appealing to the public to be on the look out for missing person Berhanei Peynado (40 years.)

Peynado had been visiting Ontario from his home province of British Columbia.  When he missed his flight home on November 16, 2021, concern developed for his welfare. 

Further investigation determined that on November 15, 2021, Peynado was dropped off at a hotel on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls.
