Incident at 1 District in St. Catharines Leads to Robbery Charge

On Thursday May 30, 2024, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the 1 District Lobby located at 198 Welland Avenue in the City of St. Catharines for an assault in progress.

Detectives investigating following St. Catharines bush party collision

At 12:30 am on Sunday May 26, 2024, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers were called to the area of Glen Morris Drive following the report of a person struck by a vehicle in the City of St. Catharines.

Further investigation by 1 District detectives revealed that at approximately 11:30 pm on Saturday May 25, 2024, a 19-year-old female was struck by a vehicle while attending a “bush party” in Burgoyne Woods and that the vehicle then left the scene.
