Three Impaired Arrests During Weekend R.I.D.E Campaign

On Friday July 5, 2024, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks in the Cities of Port Colborne and Niagara Falls.

Throughout the night, officers stopped approximately 600 vehicles and inquired if any of the drivers had consumed any alcohol or drugs earlier in the evening. On Friday June 28, 2024, at approximately 6:50pm, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers were called to Pen Centre on Glendale Avenue in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
