ADVISORY: Niagara Police Service Board Meeting – July 25, 2024

The media and public are invited to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Regional Municipality of Niagara Police Service Board on Thursday, July 25, 2024.  The public portion of the meeting will begin at 9:30 am and can be viewed live on the link Niagara Region Police Service Board - YouTube

The female has now been identified.

Detectives would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

We have removed the woman’s photo from our social media and would ask that others do the same for her privacy.

UPDATE 2 - St. Catharines Detectives Are Asking for Assistance Identifying an Elderly Female

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) continues to investigate the identity of a women found in medical distress.  The woman was located July 13, 2024, at approximately 5:00pm in the area of Parnell Road and Bunting Road in the City of St. Catharines. 

The unidentified woman was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition. 

Despite all investigative efforts detectives have been unable to identify the woman or locate her next of kin.  The NRPS has decided to share...

UPDATE 1 - St. Catharines detectives are asking for assistance identifying an elderly female

Detectives continue to investigate as they work to identify an elderly female who was located in St. Catharines in medical distress.

Her updated description is:

• White
• Neck length white/grey hair
• 70-80 years of age
• Possibly Dutch/European descent 

She was located wearing beige ¾ length pants, a light coloured shirt, white running shoes, sunglasses, and a grey hiking hat.  The woman may have mobility issues as she was located with a black walking cane. 

She was last seen walking westbound on the Lock One...

Detectives are asking for assistance identifying an elderly female who was located in St. Catharines in medical distress.

 The woman was located July 13, 2024 in the area of Parnell Road and Bunting Road.

 She is described as: 

• White
• Long white hair
• 65-75 years of age
• 5'3"-5'5"

She was located wearing white running shoes, sunglasses, and a grey hiking hat.  The woman may have mobility issues as she was located with a black walking cane.
