MISSING PERSON – NRPS in Niagara are Searching for a 24-Year-Old Man

Officers from the 3 District – Welland / Pelham office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person James Emery.

On September 10, 2024, the Niagara Regional Police Service was contacted to report James missing.  James was last spoken to by his family on September 6, 2024.  James checks in with family daily, but he has not been heard from since. 

James is described as:

• 5’8” feet tall

59-Year-Old Man Arrested for Internet Luring Offence – Welland

In August 2024, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Detectives assigned to the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began a proactive investigation to target people in our community who use the Internet to connect and meet with children for a sexual purpose. 

Over a month-long period, Robert Darryl DAVIS (59-years-old) of Welland Ontario used the Internet to converse with a person who he believed to be a 14-year-old female.  During these “text” conversations he committed the offence of:

Detectives from the 3 District (Welland / Pelham) Street Crime Unit have been investigating this break and enter since it occurred on September 3, 2024.
