On June 29th, 2022, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the Lake) responded to a back-to-back gas station robberies at 4:50am and 5:15am in the City of Niagara Falls. On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 8 District - Grimsby uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) were called to 16 damage / mischief incidents in the Town of Lincoln (Vineland and Vineland Station area).

On June 28, 2022, at 8:50 pm, 1 District St. Catharines uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in St. Catharines.
A member of the public contacted the NRPS Communications Unit after they watched a white 1999 Pontiac Grand-Am at the intersection of Lake Street and Dufferin Street in the City of St. Catharines strike a telephone pole and stop sign. The now damaged Pontiac then fled the scene.

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.
