On Wednesday November 17th, 2021, at 4:40pm officers assigned to 1 District Uniform Patrol responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store located in the area of Pelham Road and Galbraith Street, in the City of St. Catharines.
A lone male suspect entered the store armed with a large knife. A demand was made to the cashier to surrender money from the register. The cashier sustained no injuries.

In lieu of new information, today’s virtual press conference scheduled for 11:00am has been cancelled.
The unidentified human remains found in 2019 were sent to the Ontario Centre of Forensic Sciences, where they were examined by a forensic anthropologist and a human remains analyst. Descriptive information was obtained, resulting in the creation of a facial approximation by Detective Constable Duncan Way, a forensic artist with the Ontario Provincial Police.

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.

On Sunday, November 14, 2021, at approximately 11:29 pm, 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store in Niagara Falls.
