Update 1 – April 13, 2021
The investigation into the April 12, 2021, TD Canada Trust Bank robbery in St. Catharines remains ongoing by our 1 District – St. Catharines detectives.
Please review the included suspect photos.
The suspect may have red dye on their hands, body or clothing today. An anti-robbery red dye pack was found exploded near the scene. Anyone with red dye on themselves or attempting to pass red stained money should be reported to the police.

At approximately 8:30pm on Monday April 12, 2021, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to the area of Glenridge Avenue and Marsdale Drive in the City of St. Catharines.
When they arrived they located a 32 year old male with gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is in its preliminary stages. A male was taken into custody however charges have not been not laid at this time.

On April 12, 2021, at approximately 9:30am, 1 District – St. Catharines uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a bank robbery in the north end of St. Catharines.
Officers attended the TD Canada Trust Bank at 364 Scott Street in St. Catharines. The initial investigation determined that an unknown male suspect had entered the bank. The suspect threatened violence to a clerk if he was not given money. The suspect received an undisclosed...

On March 17, 2021, 8 District – Grimsby uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service were dispatched to a report of vandalism to a mailbox in the Town of Lincoln.
Officers attended to the mailbox in the area of King Street and Martin Road. The initial investigation determined that the community mailbox had been damaged when some of the box doors had been pried open. Damage was estimated at $50.
This particular community mailbox had been damaged four times previous.

On Saturday April 10, 2021, at 4:45pm 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) attended the Chippawa Lions Park located at 3970 Welland Street in Niagara Falls in response to a weapons complaint.
The initial investigation determined that a group of teens had been in the park when a verbal argument developed. The argument escalated to violence when a male teen brandished a replica handgun and fired it in excess of 10 times at another male teen. ...
