On October 31st, 2022, at 9:25pm Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) responded to a residential address located in the area of Catherine Street and Central Avenue, in the Town of Fort Erie regarding a suspicious person.

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred on October 25th, 2022, at 10:51am at a residential address in the area of Village Creek Drive between Old Mill Road and Ott Road, in the Town of Fort Erie. The adult male victim who suffered multiple gunshot wounds continues to recover.

On October 31st, 2022, at 3:30pm Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers assigned to 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) responded to a residential address in the area of Chestnut Lane and Merritt Street, in the City of St. Catharines following the report of an assault.
