A Hamilton woman is facing charges following an investigation into an altercation that occurred in a Niagara on the Lake Parking lot December 26, 2019.
The incident was reported to 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake) uniform officers on December 26, 2019. Subsequent investigation revealed that there was an altercation between two females over a parking spot at the Niagara on the Lake Outlet Mall.

On Friday, December 27, 2019, the Niagara Regional Police continued their Festive R.I.D.E. Campaign by conducting sobriety check points at two locations within the Town of Niagara-On-The-Lake and the Town of Grimsby.
Both of the locations were very busy and in total approximately 750 vehicles were stopped. Each driver was questioned if they had consumed any alcohol or cannabis prior to operating their vehicle. Of the drivers spoken to, 14 were requested to provide a sample of their breath...

On Friday, December 20, 2019 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers responded to a belated attempted robbery that occurred at approximately 4:42am at a convenience store in the area of Lake St and Beech St. in the City of St. Catharines.
Investigation has revealed that a male entered the store, was seen to be in possession of a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot.
No one was physically injured during the attempted robbery.

As a result of an investigation by the Niagara Regional Police, Central Fraud Unit, on Wednesday December 11, 2019, police arrested a suspect who was attempting to complete the fraudulent purchase of a $107,000.00 luxury vehicle.
Through their investigation, detectives identified the alleged attempted use of personation and the use of forged identity documents.
