On Saturday, December 19, 2020, members of the Niagara Regional Police conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks within the township of West Lincoln and City of Niagara Falls.

On Thursday, December 17, 2020 at approximately 12:52pm, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), attended a residence in the area of Keefer Road and Commerford Street, in the City of Thorold, in regards to an unwanted person.
Further investigation revealed that a male had entered the residence unlawfully in a previous incident, causing damage inside the residence and injuring a cat.
