Uttering Threats Arrest – Related to Niagara College – In Niagara On The Lake

On November 18th, 2021, detectives assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls), Criminal Investigative Branch received information involving a student at Niagara College (Niagara-On-The-Lake) campus making death threats via text messages.

Investigation revealed the suspect threatened another student and made comments surrounding a firearm being brought to the school campus.  There was no imminent threat to any students, the campus itself or Niagara Colleges employees.

Break and Enter – Female Victim Shot By Pellet Gun – In Niagara Falls

On Friday, November 12, 2021, at approximately 11:50pm, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform patrol officers attended the Americas Hospitality Inn located at 7070 Lundy’s Lane, in the City of Niagara Falls, for an armed persons call for service. 

Investigation revealed that multiple suspects had kicked in a door at this location and discharged a pellet gun, hitting a female victim. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

As a result of an on-going investigation by detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit, an additional sexual assault complainant has come forward.
