The victim has succumbed to her injuries. Out of respect for next of kin, no further information is being released.
The investigation remains ongoing by detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit

On Saturday May 1, 2021 at approximately 6:52am, 5 District (Fort Erie) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Jarvis Street, in the Town of Fort Erie in regards to a robbery.
Uniform officers attended the Bank of Montreal located at 61 Jarvis Street, in the Town Fort Erie. Initial investigation revealed that a 24 year old male victim was robbed while making a deposit in the exterior deposit box.

In March of 2021, detectives from 8 District with the Niagara Regional Police Service, commenced an investigation into an indecent act.
Investigation revealed that a 16 year old girl was walking in the area of Garden Gate and Greenlane in Lincoln, when a male in a red pickup truck followed her then proceeded to park down the street. The female passed the truck and was able to observe the male committing an indecent act.
As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify a male suspect.

On Friday, April 30, 2021, members of the Niagara Regional Police conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks within the Cities of Port Colborne and St. Catharines.
Throughout the night, officers stopped approximately 600 vehicles and inquired if any of the drivers had consumed any alcohol or drugs earlier in the evening. The Niagara Regional Police Service is currently looking for a 46 year old male from Niagara Falls.
On April 30, 2021, David Cote was last seen in the area of Ann Street and Warden Avenue in Niagara Falls at approximately 4:00am. Family members discovered David missing later that morning at approximately 8:30am.
