On January 19, 2021, at approximately 4:17am the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) received a 911 call regarding a disturbance possibly involving a firearm at a residence in Fort Erie.
5 District – Fort Erie uniform officers attended a residence on the Niagara Parkway and located the bodies of two females.
Detectives from the Homicide Unit and the Forensic Services Unit have been called in to investigate further.

On January 18, 2021, at approximately 8:53am 1 District – St. Catharines uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) were called to a multi-unit apartment building in the area of Manchester Avenue and Hampstead Avenue in St. Catharines for a break and enter and assault.

On January 2, 2021, 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers responded to a report of a residential break and enter in Niagara Falls in the area of Summer Street and Main Street .
The initial investigation by the officers determined that a suspect broke into the home and stole jewelry and collectable comic books. The value of the stolen property was estimated at over $9000.
