Acting on a complaint from a member of the public detectives from the 8 District Grimsby office of the Niagara Regional Police Service commenced a fraud investigation involving a local convenience store.
Following a month long fraud investigation, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 8 District Criminal Investigations Branch detectives, assisted by uniformed officers executed a warrant at Milk N Things convenience store located at 74 Main Street West, Grimsby.

On July 29, 2020, at approximately 2:50pm emergency services personnel responded to a report of a serious injury collision on Niagara Stone Road in Niagara on the Lake.

Shortly after 1:00am on July 29th, 2020, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service, Casino Patrol Unit responded to a shooting in the area of Clifton Hill / Victoria Avenue, in the city of Niagara Falls.
