MISSING PERSON – NRPS in Port Colborne are Searching for a 31-Year Old Man

Detectives from the 6 District (Port Colborne/Wainfleet) office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Derek Gibbs (31 years) of Port Colborne.

Derek was reported missing to the NRPS on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, by family members.

Derek was last seen on Monday, December 16, 2024, in the city of Port Colborne.

Derek is described as:

-          White male

-          5’10 feet tall

-          Approximately 160 lbs

-          31 years of age

LOCATED - MISSING PERSON – NRPS in St. Catharines are Searching for a 70 - Year-Old Man

Daniel has been located and is safe. The NRPS would like to thank the public and the media for their help in this matter.

MISSING PERSON – NRPS in St. Catharines are Searching for a 70 - Year-Old Man

Officers from the 1 District – St. Catharines office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Daniel Lorne Joseph.

Daniel went missing on November 29, 2024.  He was reported missing to the NRPS on December 10, 2024.

Daniel was last seen on November 29, 2024, in the area of Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue as he lives in the immediate area.  His means of travel is usually on foot.

Daniel is described as:

• Indigenous male
• Approximately 150lbs. slender build

Homicide Detectives Investigating Shooting in Grimsby - Update 2

The Niagara Regional Police Service continues to investigate the circumstances of a homicide that occurred one year ago today on November 27, 2023, at 5:30PM in the parking lot of a residential condominium building in the area of Concord Place and Windward Drive in the Town of Grimsby.

When emergency crews arrived, they located 21-year-old Jordan Chu with life threatening injuries.  He was transported to an out of region hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
