Suspicious Behaviour - UPDATE 1 - NRPS Investigating Suspicious Man in Niagara Falls

Further investigation into this incident has resulted in 2 District (Niagara Falls) detectives releasing the attached photo and video of the male suspect.
Detectives are asking business owners and residents who were in the following areas of the City of Niagara Falls on Thursday March 7, 2019 between 8am and 11:30am to review business and home surveillance cameras or vehicle dash cameras for footage of the suspect vehicle and male:
- Drummond Road
- Churchill Street
- Villiage Crescent
- Hawkins Street
- Dell Ave
- Margaret Street
- Arad Street
The male is described as white, between the ages of 23-25, English speaking with no discernible accent, dark brown hair with facial stubble wearing a red hat.
The vehicle he was driving is described as a black 4-door Volkswagen Jetta, between 2011-2013 with nine spoke rims and an object hanging from the rearview mirror.

ORIGINAL RELEASE - March 7, 2019
On March 7, 2019, at approximately 8:30AM uniform officers from the 2 District Niagara Falls office of the Niagara Regional Police responded to Father Hennnepin Catholic School on Churchill Street in Niagara Falls.  Officers attended for a report of a suspicious man.
Investigating officers learned that at approximately 8:15AM on today's date, a 10 year old girl was walking to school near the corner of Hawkins Street and Drummond Road. The girl was approached by a man in an older black 4 door compact car. 
The man spoke with the girl briefly.  The girl became scared as a result of the conversation and fled to a nearby residence.
The girl did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the interaction.
At this point in the investigation there has been no evidence to support that a criminal offence occurred.  Detectives are attempting to identify and speak to the man involved to determine his intentions.
- English speaking (no discernible accent)
- Caucasian
- 23-25 years old
- Red baseball hat
- White sweater or jacket
- Dark brown hair
